Re: Vile video game wonder-widows
Oblivion - I got a bit lost in that one too. Fortunately it started to bug up after the main quest, and I lost interest.
I'm actually losing it for video games. I have two supposedly awesome games that I have only played 2 or 3 times, Fable and The Witcher. And a good half dozen others that I just couldn't get into. LOTRO - I leveled a couple characters to level 10 or so, and lost interest, despite the nice visuals and Middle-Earth theme.
CIV4 with Nimoy would probably destroy me, but I don't like the look of the graphic style and have avoided it.
It started a couple years ago. Unless it's really, really good game, I don't have time for it. There's a lot of mediocre out there with nice graphics.
Your husband is probably already limiting himself at 4 hours, lol. Sitting around knitting probably won't help. You need to follow your own interests/talents. Although some planned time/outing together is a good thing, it's not quite fair to complain about one partner's interests, while having none of one's own. Enjoy some free time. And maybe ask for 2 hours gaming on weeknights. Pick a show to watch together, something. Humans love rituals and routines.
