Victory of the Daleks - 65 minutes (slight spoilers)

^Yeah. Interesting thing I noticed is that Smith seems to have bulked up a bit for the role of WHO-he actually looks more muscular than Tennant IMO.

You know who I'd love to see fight a Dalek? Teddy Roosevelt.

Yeah but Churchill could beat Roosevelt in his sleep so they chose the better opponent.

:D

Should be Franklin then, since he pretty much lead Winnie around by the nose. Plus, he and the Daleks could face off over the staircase issue. ;)

Dalek- ELEVATE!!!

Franklin- hmm.......LEVITATE!!!

Dalek- IMPOSSSSIBBBLE!!

Franklin-Technology acquired from a ship that crashed 10 years ago

You know what would be awesome? Take this image of Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin. Put Roosevelt in a Davros style chair, and have Churchill and Stalin holding various Dalek components.

I hope it's not the first RTD-era style "OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE" moment of the new series. I suspect it might be. Still, it's a spectacle.

If I'm upset, mark my words - I'm pumpin' AW YER MAWS.

AW YER MAWS.

You might like to check the Radio Times entry for episode two. It's probably a mistake, but if the cast list is accurate, a character from Victory of the Daleks atually makes their first appearance in episode two...

RTD didn't come up with those "Oh for fuck's sake" moments. They've been part of the series from the very beginning.
He's the master of them though.

Exactly. I did say "RTD era style", not "RTD invented the concept of stupid moments in Doctor Who".

:guffaw: this is why I simultaneously love/hate TrekBBS, you're such a bunch of pedantic shits. Don't ever change.
