I like it, they definitely seem to be going for more grounded looking designs for this.
I like the grounded appeal of this look. One of the main reasons I loved Bale's Batman is I could see how everything worked together.

They're really going for an industrial look to the film aren't they? Seems like something Bruce made at a mechanics shop.

Who remembers the Alfred the Mechanic rumors way before "Batman Begins" was proposed?
Yep, kind of reminds me of the concept art for that film too.

More of a fun, realistic, and practical car and less of a tumbler (and I say that as someone who mostly loved it in the Nolan films). I think I like it a lot.

Yeah! I remember that. Too bad that didn't pan out.

I just noticed the top brake light, safety first!

*Adam West voice*

"Remember Robin. When chasing Gotham's criminally insane it's always best to let people know that you will be braking"

"Gosh you're right Batman"

I like that the batmobile is like the batmobiles from the comics. It's not flashy with fins and bat logos. Sometimes it looks like a regular car on the outside

I would love a Batman movie that takes the material seriously but that doesn't try to be "realistic". Unfortunately, this looks to be another Nolan inspired "realistic" piece of shit, but with a somehow worse style and a worse cast. I'll never know how DC manages to keep up such a track record of hiring shitty directors/writers for Batman and Superman stuff nowadays. You'd think they'd hire someone capable of making a good Batman movie just by accident at this point, its like they actively don't want a good Batman movie to be made.

Shitty cast? This has an amazing cast.
OK yes, Pattinson did do Twilight, but since then he's given acclaimed performances in other stuff, and Zoe Kravitz isn't a huge star, but I liked her in X-Men: First Class, and Mad Max: Fury Road. I can't remember Paul Dano from anything, but he is a pretty well respected actor, Jeffrey Wright has been consistently awesome in Westworld, and Andy Serkis was absolutely amazing in the Middle Earth movies, and the rebooted Planet of the Apes series. I'm not real familiar with Jayme Lawson or Peter Sarsgaard, but I am a big fan of Colin Farrell.
And I really enjoyed Cloverfield, and absolutely loved Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, so I'm very confident Matt Reeves will give us an absolutely awesome Batman movie.

It never makes sense to judge an actor's entire ability based on one bad movie, especially one that old. Try watching Jack Nicholson's early Roger Corman movie roles. He was atrocious. Acting is a skill like any other -- you can improve with practice.

She was terrific in Fury Road. I think she's an excellent choice.

Never saw Cloverfield, but the Apes movies were fantastic.

Paul Dano was also pretty compelling in “Prisoner” with Hugh Jackman. Dano played a bus driver with the IQ of a child.

Why do constantly judge a book by its cover?

You haven’t even seen it yet you’re throwing it under the bus right away

How do you know we have a “shitty cast”?
