Vance's Schematics

Well, to be fair, in the case of the Larson (and Loknar, when it's posted), they didn't so much as REMOVE space as they just didn't extend the saucer out. :)

I know some people like that notched-nose look, but it's beyond me why we'd need to cut into the hull like that to add a torpedo tube. No reason in the world they can't be mounted on the nose without breaking the visual curve of the saucer. If it needs to be 2 decks thick, build a housing underneath in the camber. It worked great on my Peregrine kitbash:

I mean, why LOSE internal volume by cutting that notch when you don't have to?

Well, apart from the improved visual interest :), I could see that stored torps are denser than normal ship habitable area. If one just "clamped on" an external torp launcher with a couple of full magazines stored in close proximity, it could conceivably throw off the mass balance of the vessel.

Just an idea.

As a classic gamer, I do appreciate that last one, though now it looks like he's eating the warp engine. :)

Just a quick update, took some ships down for one reason or another. These include: Frobisher Class, Longbow Class, Balson Class, Apache reconstruction I, Apache Reconstruction II, Surya Class, Cassard Class, Harakawa Class, Akyazi Class, and Ashanti Class.

I hope that you will bring these ships back up. :) :) I have always liked your designs. :) There are some that I have not seen yet. :(

BTW, great job on the Aurora Class Yacht. :)

Look what the fleshies have done with one of the Holdfast's starships!

Just for that, we're not going to tell them what we did to the Klingon colonists on Kalesta...

Well, unfortunately, the 'conflict' going on right now is spilling, and I would rather NOT fight over 'rights' on these images... most of them have alternatives anyway. I'll just go with those eventually, or just make new ones to fill in the gaps.

Thanks... though the Tholians are in tears, appparently.

Ummm . . . what fight? Probably none of my business, since I guess I'd've come across the information on my own if it were that important. But whose asking you to take something down from Trek BBS? The mods?

Just curious.

Without dredging it up again.. head to last week's 'Akyazi' thread and you'll pretty much catch up. For the record, though, Aridas has not, at this point, asked me to remove any ships.. a different person asked me to remove the Harakawa. I just felt it was a good idea to start looking at replacements and just avoid the issue with him.

So are you gonna do up the Tholian ships, now that you have the Aurora already done?

And what do you think of Adam Turner's art for Tholian Attack I linked to in my last post?

I'll be holding fast for your answer... or maybe not.
