Vance's Schematics

The Teaxs Class is interesting, especially from the side. The lines of the bow and bridge have a hint of "Merchantman" from STIII to me.

From the dorsal view however, it looks like one ship is humping another from behind. :)

I've never been overly fond of the Chandley either; I'm not fond of the dangling nacelles common to FASA ships.

Here's another shot of that CL:

When I firat saw it, I wasn't a major fan - but it's grown on me!

I like the London, though I'm not as sure of about sensor/deflector placement on the Tokyo. It looks weird from the front. Personally, I'd probably just stick it in the traditional mount on the saucer.

U.S.S. Tokyo Captain's Log:
For some reason, my hairpiece keeps flying off and hitting the viewscreen....

Both good. I like the deflector, nice to see something a little different...but not in a dumb way. ;)

Miranda Class Heavy Frigate

Based on the DC comics version, with some tweaking from Starship Modeller’s “Rollbar” accessory.

I hadn't realized that a TOS-style Miranda had appeared in DC comics. But I own very few Trek comics, so I'm not surprised. Which issue(s) did it appear in?

Aside from loosing the drop-deflector this is pretty nice. I saw some old trek comics a while back in a bookstore. Didn't get them though. They were TWOK-eras. If I found newer ones I'd pick them up, but I don't collect random issues.

It's an annual, but I forget which one. It's where Kirk finally leaves Carol behind for good. The ship shown is his first stint at command.

Another version is where Captain PIKE takes on the stolen USS Cortez, though it's badly drawn.

It took a lot out of me to do it.. I really don't like that type of design. :P

But, if I can do the 'Byrd' class...

I still need to figure out what to do about the Pioneer class (SM)

I think it's okay if it's handled well; I've only seen it on a few designs anyway, and I thought those were decently put together. It's just one of those features you have to be careful with.

This one is passable largely because the nacelles are lowered and more 'custom', and they didn't add the rollbar full of weapons, or more nacelles or anything. It's largely a clean design.
