I completely forgot about jack's V for Victory Speech.

It kinda makes the character useful.

I still get chills thinking about the concentration camp survivor from the original miniseries giving his little V for Victory speech.

As I read somewhere on the internet, aliens who restore the environment as part of a sinister plot for racemixing are obviously Democrats. No matter how awful this show gets, people are going to watch it, every dreary minute. The threat of racemixing is going to make the show resonate, so to speak. Personally I tuned in for Jane Badler but couldn't keep watching. I think I went back to the channel at the end but still missed her.

Why not. This show should jump feet first into right wing Tea Party baloney. At least then it might have a personality. Anything is better than continuing blandness. (However, the b-movie schlock elements emerging lately are also a personality of a sort.)

I'm still wondering where the hell do they keep there tails. Does it just come out and retract in out of there ass?

I often wonder the same thing in the changing rooms at the public baths when I see these monstrosities hanging free that need to be coiled arou... I've said too much.

^An question even more difficult to answer now that USA Today has put up an image of what the full Visitor is going to look like. How that's even supposed to fit in a human suit is hard to explain.

Think Slitheen.

I have a couple questions, since I've never watched the new V.

Was there an indication in season 1 of any connection to the 1983/1985 series' ?

And now, is Badler playing the same Diana from 1983/1985 ?

And if there is a connection, how does everyone on Earth not remember the first & second invasions ? The same forgetfulness from Doctor Who ?

There is no connection to the old series. Badler is playing a new character. They gave it the same name for nostalgia's sake.

That's a shame. In The War of The Worlds TV series, the original Orson Welles radio play was an actual newscast and the "play" was the government cover up of the alien scout. The 1950s movie actually happened but even though there were mass dumps of alien bodies in hazmat waste sites there was some kind of global mass amnesia to account for nobody believing.

Still not sure why Erica lets her son run around in love with a lizard/insect/whatever and won't tell him the truth. Especially when she already caught them once before she know who Lisa was.

Even more so because Erica KNOWS that it's possible for humans and Vs to breed! At the very least she needs to tell him to make sure he's wrapping it up!

In the same vein as the "how does the tail fit under the skin" issue....did anyone se how long the V skeleton's neck was? Sure it was cool looking, but I haven't seen a single V that looked like a human giraffe yet.

ETA: Whoa, just saw the link to that USA Today article. It's like a wasp married a gecko. Gep is right. I'll have a hard time suspending my disbelief about that thing being inside a human skin. The posture is so different that they would be incredibly uncomfortable standing for any length of time.

I don't see an issue with the Vs being able to look that alien yet still fit inside a human suit--with their level of genetics or a natural ability they can just dislocate and contort their bodies.

I noticed that Morena Baccarin has a long neck.
