That angle is too steep. I need to cock my head to get an idea of what it looks like.

So the Kelvin's using the Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space as a bridge?
I built a model of the Jupiter 2 (from Lunar Models) a number of years ago... complete with interior (granted, like so many sci-fi ships, the "filming interior" simply won't fit into the exterior... and, of course, there were multiple and significantly different, exteriors anyway). So the Kelvin's using the Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space as a bridge?
Damn it, 'fisher! I was liking that ship up until that remark!

But I saw that the moment I saw this ship, too. I suspect it's another one of those "throw it in as an in-joke" bits... though I've come to HATE those things (ET in the Republic Senate? R2-D2 and C-3PO in heiroglyphics in the Well of Souls? Dave Bowman's pod in Watto's junkyard?) It's waaaaay too "cute" and it ruins the scenes as far as I'm concerned... it pulls you out of any sense of "suspension of disbelief."
But for anyone who's not familiar with it... let me present you with the Jupiter 2!

Yeah, I probably will. I'm trying to make myself good screen grabs from the trailer, so I can check it out.MadMan, maybe now that we have a better view of the Kelvin, would you consider updating your model?
Maybe for Star Trek Legacy?![]()

That's more than a passing resemblance.
Yep, that's what prompted me to re-build it.
I had to do a print screen, paste it into photoshop, and then adjust the contrast. It's really dark...
Is there some way to adjust the contrast on this? On my end, the ship is charcoal gray on a black background, which makes it nearly invisible...
