USS Constellation, NCC-1017

I have one more, this afternoon...

The bottom ship is the USS Valiant, NCC-1223. I found out there aren't any official images of that particular ship, and it's registry was in the right range of what I was trying to do, so I thought it fit right. It's the first kit-bash of many, built off of the Constellation.
What do you guys think? It turned out more pink that I thought it would, but I went ahead with it. It's supposed to remind one of the red atmosphere on a Mars type world...

Well, I decided I didn't like the pink, at all. So, I tweaked it with different planets, and some small flares and some other glows.

I really dig the design, but I'd love to see it with a moderately less 'dirty' aztec pattern, perhaps closer to the more pearlescent Enterprise?

Very nice. How about a version where the pylons run up to the strut mounts instead of the impulse engines, and a Reliant-type photon launcher is slung between the secondary hulls.
Well, that would make it look too new.
Once I get good lighting on them, the pattern doesn't have a much contrast as it does here... but it still has a more brownish tint to it, as opposed to the whiter or bluer of the Enterprise.
I had thought about that, but it kind of loses that weird shape the one in the movie had.One more post for the night....

About the rollbar, though... The movie ships don't have any kind of inboard grilles, so there is room for something like that. On mine, it would have to either mount up top, or all the way up at the front. I don't think it would really fit, on this configuration. I am going to build the "Trike" next, I think, along with a Kelvin style configuration..

The Valiant looks really cool, although I think it might be better with only one secondary hull.
