Perfect name for that ship. Reminds me of the Albacore sailboats we had back in the 70-80s. HUGE buggers that just took a pounding. Love it.

That's interesting - I had no idea about the sailboat angle. I did name it after a 'boat' though (and a fish!); the USS Albacore, which was a navy research submarine. It felt right as my ship is intended to be a prototype/R&D vessel as well.

My first name for this ship was Adelie, which is a species of rather fearless and pugnacious penguin. But as the ship got beefier, naming it after a cute little penguin seemed less appropriate!
