Us against the world.Being a DS9 fan

I started watching the series when the DVD sets were first coming out in stores for a hefty price. It was Andrew J Robinson playing Garak and Jeffrey Combs as Weyoun that made me want continue to watch the series to its end in the seventh season.

Hello fellow Vorta.

Weyon was the reason, why I chose a Vorta identity. And remember vividly Keevan beeing shot by Gaila. So which new clone number are you?

I am Keevan 2.

I think the thing that clearly hurt DS9 was the filler. I can get 8-10 episodes from the first season that are watchable, and about 22 from the final season.

I really believe if you gave a selected episodes list to most people they'd fall in love with the show.

The top 70 episodes to me are comparable to most premium tier shows released today.

However I can't even watch some DS9 Episodes.

Ironically the worst episodes are those planet of the week type attempts.

I don't agree. Yes, there's some "filler" episodes, but I think there were more in TNG. Even more in Voyager, and I just cringe at a whole lot of TOS episodes and wonder how I could have been a fan back in the 1970s. I think what hurts DS9 is the serial nature, which ironically is what makes me enjoy it more, because characters grow and change.
