Untitled Star Trek - Discovery project

More like five years. We haven't even heard squat about Lower Decks, much less any of this other alleged stuff.
I'm guessing a trailer and big promotional push was to start at Comicon, along with announcements of other new stuff.

With Comicon cancelled, maybe they'll just drop some stuff online for us all to buzz over.

While I understand why CBSAA would want to have something Star Trek related every month to keep people subscribed every month, a series in the fall and a series in the spring is good enough for me. I'd be happy if they just stuck with Discovery and Picard.

I wonder if this pathological need to make more shows set during the DSC era Is simply because they want to use the existing DSC sets. Someone needs to tell them that those sets would look fine at any point in the Star Trek timeline, and they don’t have to limit themselves to just that tiny bit of time.
They have already used the Disco bridge as the bridge of a Starfleet ship in Picard.

There's always the Trek Vegas con in August. Though I guess that could still get cancelled, if it hasn't been already.

A Pike Series is as likely to be called Star Trek: Enterprise as the Picard Series was to be called Star Trek: Destiny or Star Trek: Reliant. They're all working titles, code-name titles, or registered titles that they considered but ultimately won't go with.

When somewhere like Variety calls a Pike Series "Star Trek: Enterprise", then I'll start to believe it'll be the actual title. Until then, I'm not putting any stock in what the title might be. At the end of the day, "What's in a name?" As long as we know what show they're talking about.

Enterprise is a series in the CBS All Access library, along with all the other Star Trek series. If there's a Pike Series, they'll name it something else, so their line-up will be nice and neat when they list things in alphabetical order.

Star Trek
Star Trek: The Animated Series
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Trek: Discovery
Star Trek: Enterprise
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: Short Treks
Star Trek: Voyager

Unless ENT is removed from this line-up, it's not being replaced with something else.

EDIT: In other news, Strawberry Shortcake! Haven't seen that since I was a kid. Takes me back.
DOUBLE-EDIT: Nevermind. It's not the one from the '80s. Got my hopes up...

To completely differentiate it from the 2001-2005 Star Trek: Enterprise, they'll remove the Star Trek title and just call the Pike show Enterprise.

they should rename ENT back to Enterprise. Need to change openings credit title for 3rd and 4th seasons.

It doesn't seem like a good idea to have a mass gathering with national and international guests in an enclosed space so soon.
Bavaria cancelled the Oktoberfest. I guess DST London may also get cancelled. :weep:

The more I think of this, the more I think this is just something instead of Discovery season 4. A Stargate: The Ark of Truth, so to speak but properly preplanned.

My lame speculation on this is that they are trying to make a Movie/pilot for S31 because they have some sort of problem such as scheduling conflicts because of the delay due to COVID, or its just the fucking Riker "Movie".

Riker "Movie"? I haven't heard anything about that.

I had a thought. Maybe the DSC Untitled Project covers ground that we didn't see in the first two seasons.

1. Captain Killy (biggest missed opportunity!)
2. Prime Lorca
3. How Lorca got command of Discovery
4. What ultimately became of L'Rell's Chancellorship
5. The Adventures of Po! (who should've gone with them)
6. A follow-up to The Kelpians vs. The Ba'ul
7. A prequel on the Shenzhou

They could have a “Pike” series, but have it’s main character be Number One, much like how DSC doesn’t have the Captain as it’s main character. Star Trek: Number One or Star Trek: Una  We already know Pikes (and Spocks) fate, so let’s focus on Una, who we don’t really know much about.
