I do not refer to 'discrimation' I refer to how black people are percieved as romantic, life time or marriage partners by other races. The 'Guess who is coming to dinner' saga still exists. Some white people might be more accepting (to a point), however in caste based societies where the fairer you are the closer to the 'gods' you are, bringing home a black man or black woman is a mega no no. Ask anyone who is from Asia, who is a more acceptable partner, a white person or a black person to their families, IF they choose not to marry/be with one of their own ethnic group? Even in the black community back in the day, had issues with this.
However the Star Trek universe gives the impression such things will no longer be an issue for humanity. Would be a bit crazy to have issues with brown humans when blue and green people exist in the universe.
