Unintentionally Funny Scenes

The fake holodeck recreation scene in "A Matter of Perspective" when the frail, old scientist beats up the younger and stronger Commander Riker.

"PPPHHHOOOOTTTTOOOONNNNNN TTTOOOORRRRPPPEEEDDDOOOSSSS" That entire wormhole/asteroid sequence was just so bad its good.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! It's so fun to see super dignified Picard lose his shit. L.O.B., thanks for giving me an excuse to post these pictures. :D

And from the same movie the scene where Sonak and the other officer have just merged in the transporter accident. Kirk and Scotty turn their heads in unison, look at each other, Kirk says "My. God." and they turn their heads again in unison. Cracks me up every time (ruining the dramatic situation).

Maybe this scene was intended to be funny, but in Apocalypse Rising, there's a scene where Sisko and crew are disguised as Klingons, and Worf is doing an "inspection" of them.

He walks up to Sisko and before he says anything Sisko gives him a back-handed slap across the face, and growls in a rough Klingon manner, "ARE YOU QUESTIONING THE VALIDITY OF MY PLAN!!!???"

Worf smiles and says "very good, but was it your intention to challenge me to the death?"

Sisko then quickly places his hands up gentleman like, and says calmly, "not at all".

Seeing a Klingon do that and the contrast comes up pretty funny when you look at it.

Okay. Question. Why won't it show the video I tried to quote?

Peculiarity of the forum's YouTube embedding code. If you preview or edit your post the [yt] [/yt] tags and the link disappear. The same thing happens sometimes when people quote a post with a video in it, but not always (unless people are just reentering the link). The best way is to get the link from the video and manually reenter it in your post.

Picard never misses an opportunity to "raise the roof."

This scene from 'Plato's Stepchildren' is played dramatically with the look of anguish on Bones' face and the music, but it's hilarious:

"How can I let this go on? Because I'm laughing my ass off on the inside, that's how."

I was always amused by the three-step translations from technobabble to metaphor and the fact that it was so often Riker who had to deliver the simpleton's explanation.

I always enjoyed when Riker, as danger presented itself, ordered the shields to full. Is that as opposed to the sucky way they usually have them set?

And I always enjoyed the command to fire at will. Why? What'd he do?

But my favorite is the end of Generations... first Picard casually tosses aside the Kurlan Naiskos, then Riker says "I always thought I'd get a shot at this chair one day."

I put on my best Picard voice and reply "Well take it with you, Number One."

I love Sisko in Dramatis Personae. O'Brien wants him to surrender the station and he replies in classic over the top Sisko style: 'NEVER!! GET ME A PHASER!' I burst out laughing.

I was going to mention that, but it was clearly an intentionally funny moment. Probably the hardest I've ever laughed at DS9. And you forgot the best part - "IIIIIIIIIII'LL GET RIDDDDD OF KIRAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I loved it so much I made a sound clip of it and gave it to a friend of mine.

On TNG, Riker saying "They're cutting us up like a roast" as the Borg attack the Enterprise makes me laugh my ass off. Riker's serious face as he looks at a monitor while saying this helps make it humourous for me.

That part always just bothered me. Does the priceless and exceedingly rare relic and gift from his dead teacher somehow become completely worthless now that it's a bit banged up? I know the point was to emphasize how all of his things mattered less to him than the pictures and memories contained in his scrapbook, but how does that not remind him of Professor Galen?

TNG's Phantasms. The entire episode is unintentionally funny, but if I had to choose just one scene, I say the one where Freud starts lecturing Picard on the proper way to answer a phone until a coal miner busts into the room and shoots Freud.

Also, the scene in The Search For Spock when Kruge shoots and vaporizes his gunner for destroying the Grissom. But that's mainly because I remember someone reacting to that scene in a funny way over how cheap it looked, so every time I see that scene I think of that reaction and laugh.

The TOS clip from Plato's Child or whatever its called is one of many reasons why I really dislike TOS  I know its the 60's but WTF seriously.

The part in "A Matter of Honor" (not sure about the title) where the Klingon females offer to nurse Riker, and his, "Are they serious?" line.

Unfortunately I can't quote an actual example off the cuff but I love the scenes where one of the characters has to spout a long and involved piece of "technobabble". You can almost see the look of relief on their faces when they manage to get to the end of it It's usually one of the chief engineers like Geordi or O'Brien

It was probably just that no one involved remembered the origin or backstory of that prop. Apparently, movie continuity people aren't as obsessive as Trek fans!
