Uniforms not getting enough attention.

I thought the uniform's were perfect. BTW the pattern in the fabric was of mini Staffleet delta symbols. Anyone else catch that? :guffaw:

Besides, I think some people around here are more eager for the new movie than I. This one will always be a perfect memory; like the original Star Wars. I'm somewhat trepidacious about the sequel.

That would be me. But only because for the next one, I'm gonna be prepared...

I went through the casting process for extras for this one. Got past multiple interviews, etc. Then the boss wouldn't let me take a few days off on short notice.

I no longer work there.

I will be prepared to call in sick if necessary for the next one. :)

Department change, or exited the whole institution?

we'll be watching for you!

Hey, can anyone get some good, HD stills from the new movie?

I was looking at my Burger King Kirk figure here, and it looks like the uniforms have little Starfleet deltas or some kind of boomerang imbedded into the fabric itself!

How did they do that? Is this something they can put on The Learning Channel's "How It's Made" or something?

Exited the whole institution. :)

And keep us posted -- unless you think it will jinx it. ;)

The only sad thing is...

I'm not likely to be a Vulcan the next time. :(

At the initial cattle call, I can't count the number of times someone said to me, "God, you look so much like Leonard Nimoy."

I don't--just the nose. :guffaw:

I *really* wanted to be a Vulcan. :(

Does anybody think that God could make a little Starfleet delta so small that he himself could not see it? Whoa, dude....that just blew my mind!

Somehow I think you'll be looking forward more to the new movie than any of us. What will you do for 2 or possibly 3 years without Star Trek to satiate your appetite a couple times a week? I think you may need to hibernate.
That is a great idea! Nah, I do have other passions I must attend to; I wouldn't waste the time.

But Star Wars's sequel was awesome. I loved Empire. There's no reason to believe they'll screw up the second one. As long as they're focussed on making a GOOD MOVIE then the goodwill people have toward Star Trek after this film will result in MORE people seeing the second (twelfth) one.

I'm more worried about the third/thirteenth one to be honest. Maybe Star Trek XIII should be a horror ... in space.

As for the wait for the new movie...gonna have to find other distractions until it comes. Personally, I'll just try not to think about it as much as possible. And I really hope it's only two years. In three years I'll be 30 :( lol

No reason there won't be Vulcans in the new one - it's a major story thread. Keep the faith!
