Uniform Code Not So Uniform

I've definitely had my mom refuse to give TV shows I recommended on Netflix a chance because they were set in another country. Not in another language, just set in another country. I don't understand it, but a lot of people feel that way.

My dad won't watch any of it either lol. I doubt I could even get him to watch Sherlock. In his case I sort of empathize. He's 75 & has a hard time deciphering accents... ANY accents.

It's an issue with creeping deafness. I suffer as well.
