Undiscovered Country teaser trailer

Man, the stardate brings me right back, the second film I ever saw in the cinema (for some unfathomable reason I passed what the 80s had to offer  ) and somehow one of only three Trek films I've seen on the big screen, given the chance to see them all since The Search for Spock.

Superb piece of work. Makes me want to watch whatever bit of Trek I can get before my eyes.

Trek needed a boost like that after TFF.

Just listend to it, but I always thought that the movie number was never mentioned on screen, just as part of the written title like Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country where the VI numeral was just seen on the title?

The teasers for this one were awesome. I think the TMP teasers and FC teasers are probably about as good. I remember watching the FC teaser originally and being blown away. It was just the Star Trek insignia in Borg form. I thought that was awesome.

Old timers like me love the TMP trailer with the late, great Orson Welles narrarating. He's still the only person I've ever heard who pronounces "Uhura" the way it probably is supposed to be pronounced.

Knowing Welles, he probably spent two hours arguing with GR and the guy in the sound booth over how the name was to be pronounced, while muttering under his breath, "I gave up a frozen peas commercial for this shit?"

^^^ So sad that an entire generation only knows Welles as the jolly fat guy who sold V.O. wines on TV and in print "We will sell no wine before it's time"

Well, for whatever it's worth, I know him for throwing the entire nation into panic after his radio broadcast of "The War of the Worlds"

I remember that "our guides, our protectors...and our friends" from some PAL VHS promo, which this is a ripoff of (or vice versa?).
Anyway, I like the 2nd one better

and nobody cried "SPOILERS ruined the film!!" comeon, the invisible BoP fires in the trailer! It was a bad trailer...

Well STIII's had the destruction of the 1701 in it.
