Underappreciated: Visionary

Odo and Miles were flawless in their roles.
This episode deserves more love.

it was also kind of jarring to see the station destroyed. I think that was the only time that happened. It's probably one of the best Obrien episodes but it gets lost in the shuffle for some reason.

Yes, it was a fun episode. The biggest problem was that any fan knew Romulans use singularities for their warp drive, so there was no suspense about what the "mysterious singularity" orbiting the station was -- and it made the crew looks stupid too.

Good episode.

But I thought the Station died way too easily. Yes I understand they didn't yet soup it up vs. the Dominion, but even so. If the Station can be killed that easily then in my view it doesn't really make sense how it held up so well vs. other assaults later in the series, despite being souped-up.

it was a good episode, but it just didnt fire on all thrusters i felt. i agree with Navaros that the station got taken out way too easily and you knew everything would be reset by the end of the episode.

It felt too much like a TNG episode.

Yeah it was good for the 1st time…well very good. My problem with it is that it doesn’t hold up very well because it stretched the imagination …it’s just not plausible.

Good sci-fi to me must be believable…otherwise it’s just disposable entertainment like X men or Spiderman.

I love this episode. The concept is executed creatively, the visual effects are quite good, and the choice of which O'Brien lived is a nice departure from the norm.

Well, the weren't ready for the Romulan's initial attack and they said the shield emmiters were taken out first. So the station was hit hard by the Romulan assault and Warbirds had alot of firepower.
I pointed out last year, about the quantum singularity and they should have known it could have been a cloaked Warbird-they were being dumb for the episode.
