The Shawshank Redemption - After decades of rape and abuse at the hands of prisoners and prison staff, a convicted murderer decides to get revenge. He systematically orchestrates numerous extortion, blackmail, and money laundering schemes while deftly laying all the blame on the God-fearing warden. Eventually, he escapes from the prison by crawling through a mile of human feces. He then informs the press about all the warden's misdeeds, which leads to the warden committing suicide and the imprisonment of the guard who protected him from his rapists. Finally, he and his best friend, another convicted murderer and multiple felon, end up in Mexico, where they live happily ever after.

Star Wars Episode 3: Crazy religious cult attempts coup de etat of democratically elected chancellor in a bid for political power. Young man indoctrinated into cult finally admits that he has been brainwashed and comes back to reality with aid of concerned friend. Said friend, who so happens to be chancellor, authorizes him to lead a government security detachment to purge harmful cult from existence, thereby safeguarding the popularly elected new governmental system and restoring peace and justice.
Star Trek: Insurrection - An aging crew of Starfleet officers attempt to re-live their youth by defying authority and rebelling against "the man". This results in the following: destruction of Starfleet property, wonton disregard of orders, placing sanctioned Starfleet operation in jeopardy, violation of agreements with neighboring power, destruction of neighboring power's property, and horrible jokes.
