UK BBSers: From Russia with SNOW....

^ Well, there is the possibility they've repainted them, of course. But all th remaining buses that date back to the 80s are painted red and white...

No more snow, here - just a few patchy remnants of yesterday's paltry effort.

Hermiod, stay home, and stay warm! No job is worth a broken bone. ;)

K'eylehr, warm the hot dogs and carrots, serve with onion gravy (you do have an onion?). Strain the lychees and decorate creatively with glace cherries so they look like boobs. Photograph and display on TrekBBS.

Why did you suggest this, my man now thinks I'm a weird fruity perv...

Was going to be creative with the carrot rounds and the hot dogs but I'll leave that to your imagination:lol:

That's lovely! I see you have an imagination like mine. :guffaw:

Plenty of snow here. I PMed Pingfah and told him to stay home. Right now it can't make up its mind whether to snow more or thaw. I shall walk to work, and hopefully not stay too long. Means I have to leave the heating onfor the dog!

Same here, I'm rather disappointed. All it did was rain all night, so pretty much any remaining snow has disappeared. I was hoping for more.

My daytime TV of choice is Diagnosis Murder followed by Murder She Wrote. :D
You have to get in Doctors before that, then time for a bath until Come Dine with me at 5.30. I'm no expert thou:lol:

See, what I do is bath/shower before 10.30 so I can watch This Morning, a bit of Loose Women, Scrubs, Doctors or Neighbours, Diagnosis Murder, Murder She Wrote... sometimes Joey or 8 Simple Rules is on one of the freeview channels before switching to E4 for yet another Friends episode! It takes experience to sort out your daytime TV viewing.

(Note: I have a part-time job now, I do not spend all my time doing this. Just my days off. And I was a student before that. ;) )

I find it easier to just have a PVR/Media centre, and record any show I'm interested in, then it can be primetime daytime tv for me.

Sounds awful.

I opt for plan B - I'm going to the pub. :techman:

That should be plan A.

Well we finally got a good solid snowfall with more forecast for later. Happily I'm not due in uni today anyway so I can enjoy it.

But I am in a dilemma now. I'm due to go to my legal volunteer work meeting f0r 6pm this evening. Typically I'd get back around 8, maybe 9. Thing is, the snow could get worse and I get stuck down in Cardiff. Normally that would be fine - I know many a good sofa. Problem though is that tomorrow I have an assessment which requires me to dress properly - add in that tomorrow's weather could be worse and kill off all the trains and buses I need. This could all end very badly...

6 inches is enough to freak out about over there?

Aye, mubby, if you're a soft southern shandy drinking poof (ie anyone below Hadrian's wall, except geordies).

Everyone's at work in Scotland. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

Aye, richt eniff. It'll huv tae be a hefty roof-rippin' bastert o' a storm afore ye' cannae git tae yer joab.

Bright sunshine here. :( I hate the sun. :(
What is this "sun" of which you speak? All I see is grey and cloud. :(

No new snow, but now there is ice.

I hear there's more snow to come... this time from the Arctic. How I'll get to London this weekend at this rate, I'll never know. [Skid your car down the M1! You know you want to. - someone, probably Holdfast]
