Uhura in SI

I have just finished the most excellent novel Catalyst of Sorrows which I gave a 5 ️ Rating.


I am curious to know if Uhara is mentioned as head of SI in any other novels or if this was first/only time?

Also have the SI Listeners have been in other novels or again was the first/only time they have been mentioned?

I think she was head of SI in the Vulcan's Soul trilogy.

I was quite surprised to see that Picard was like 80 or 90 around the time of The Fall.

Yeah, Picard is about 80 during The Fall (born 2305, The Fall is 2385). Also, Beverly was almost 60 by the time she and Picard have Rene in 2381.

I think she was head of SI in the Vulcan's Soul trilogy.

I remember that Uhura was involved in this trilogy. Book two was the weakest, book three picked up speed.

I don't know if it qualifies as a "listener", but Uhura was both Communications Officer and undercover Intelligence Officer in "A Less Perfect Union". If she remained on the ship after the story, I'd like to think she'd continue to work as both Comms and Intel Officer for Capt. Pike and Cmdr. Kirk, at least for a little while.
