Now this is an excellent underrated satire/spoof of the media by Weird Al Yankovich in his finest hour.

Why can't they make good spoofs like this instead of garbage like "Epic Movie", "Date Movie", "Disaster Movie" and "Meet The Spartans".

You must be on an '80's run lately.

Now this one I've always liked, I've had the DVD for a couple years. I've never seem Labyrinth, so I couldn't comment on that one.

It could be due to over the top spoofs like UHF that they think they can just churn out the crap they do now, it's not like they've had an original idea in decades.

Seeing a young Fran Drescher and Michael Richards was cool. Stanley Spadowski seemed like a (more) retarded version of Kramer, at least the early version of Kramer.

Overall, a typically cheesy '80's movie, but one I own, so that in itself sets it above the rest

As you can see by my av, I'm into what was possibly the worst spoof ever, so of course owned on DVD.

The first half is hilarious. Ironically, the movie begins to go downhill once the plot kicks in.
