Cool! I like the use of the wood grain. Aside from the E-D bridge, we don't see much if any natural materials used in other ship interiors.
 
That set of ramps next to the stairs needs a set of hand rails, it's too easy for somebody to walk over and stumble on the Ramp/Stair set that is right next to each other.

I'm thinking about removing the step between captain and conn, and adding a railing there instead

Thanks! It's meant to have been launched during TNG season 3, hence the D resemblance

It's lacking the big ship cutaway graphic at the back, but to do that properly means having the ship modelled properly, not just in Sketchup. I'm also looking again at the steps between captain and conn, and wondering whether to replace them with a continuation of the ramp; might be less of a trip hazard?
