What on Earth makes you think he's going to clean it up? He'll probably boil the Breen world to extinction, by accident of course. (BTW, I believe Breen is Norwegian for glacier)

Well, with a title like "Zero Sum Game", someone's getting fucked.
Knowing Ezri Dax, she'll have some interesting ideas on making sure everyone enjoys the sequelae of whatever happens in "Zero Sum Game". I don't think she or her symbiont have ever believed in the concept implied in the title.
Between that and an exploration of the Breen - something we never got to see on TV or in the movie theatres - this one should be worth more than a few hours and the cost of the book. Looking forward to it.

The development of Ezri Dax into a real grownup in the novels has made for compelling reading. We haven't often had the chance to see a character mature in this way.

Nope, according to every online dictionary I could find, including dictionary.com, sequelae is entirely defined as a word used in pathology as a "pathological condition resulting from a previous disease." For the rest of us, we use sequels as a plural of sequel.

Could've sworn I'd seen it used in a more general "consequences"-type context in some book or other, once upon a time. On a hunch, I'd be willing to blame the late and honoured Leslie Charteris, but then I've been re-reading his Saint novels and collections a fair bit of late.
