I wanted to say that line. Back in the day I had a big crush on Merritt Butrick.

I think we skipped a few scenes.

It's late I'll put in the dvd in the tomorrow. but I think that line comes later when the scientist are discussing what to do, the whole "starfleet has kept the peace for over 100 years" scene.

Chekov: I'm sorry Dr Marcus the Admiral's orders are confirmed.

It was my mistake. The "scientists have always been pawns of the military line" should have actually been "All along the military has wanted to get their hands on this." But, continuing on:

KHAN: Well done, Commander.

 

[Pindar]

KHAN: Well done, Commander.

Chekov: You realize of course that they will try to confirm the order.

Crap, you're right. I'm screwing everything up. The script lists the scene back on Regula I as coming first, but I believe the film flips them.

SAAVIK: Thank you sir.
