Script says otherwise. And... that's actually why I'm not participating. It would be cheating.

That's interesting. I've referenced several copies of the script online, and none even have that line of background dialogue included, nor would I expect it to be. Most of that kind of background dialogue is added during the sound mix and not a part of the actual script.

I got the red-cover script thingie from Paramount, which I don't think is a shooting script - more like a final transcription, since it leaves out a number of scenes (like the extended Preston scene) and certianly doesn't have the "She's half Romulan, Jim, prone to occaisional bouts of passion." scene in the academy.
