I read about two new Trek series which were supposedly under development. What do you think?

They're taking zero risk. "basic police procedural template"? "crime of the week"? "The typical episode plotlines will have blablabla"? We've had that for how many years now?

Most of the series have had the occasional "police procedural" and "medical drama" story lines which work as part of the whole show. A series dedicated to these would be just dull.

Even though it is from a joke site, there are better ideas out there for potential new series. At least it wasn't something about 'Captain' Worf!
