Spoilers Two big characters return for anniversary.

He's also big musical theater actor, hence the comparison to Joel Grey earlier and the expectation for him to sing and dance.

Never heard of him, but it see he is a American actor so that might explain it, is he big here on UK terrestrial tv, i only use streaming services these days so i have no idea what's hip on tv today.
I'll admit, I'm Canadian meaning my mainstream media is basically an extension of American mainstream media, but I was under the impression Neil Patrick Harris was a well known and internationally renowned and recognized actor?

^^^^I have seen one of those, TOL, but i assume you must mean some uptodated version of the show rather than the 60s original.....although i have seen Starship Troopers but i can't place him, but the only thing i remember about ST is that the Kurgon from Highlander played the army camp trainer, and the actor from Highlander II played school teacher with the one arm, funny how we remember some things. Lol

NPH is the telepath one who turns up at the end in the grey Gestapo-style long leather coat and stuff to torment the Brain Bug.

Obviously, no one is required to know who anyone is* but at the same time when someone's been on stage, small screen and big screen for over 30 years it's impressive to have missed him entirely.

*I'd be hard pressed to pick 99% of the people making popular music these days out of a lineup.

And Dr. Horrible...
And the bad guy in The Matrix Ressurections, a douche in the Ben Affleck movie Gone Girl, I know this is SUPER niche, but I liked him as Lance in Undercover Brother, he was himself in the Harold and Kumar movies, and he hosted a bunch of award shows.

Not much in the way of exciting photos today but based on a Clapperboard it looks like they're shooting scenes from Episode 3, and they have a new director Chanya Button

They're still in Bristol but it's dressed up as late 19th / early 20th century London with a giant green screen to presumably add a CGI version of the city behind them.

Funnily enough, BBC Radio Bristol have posted a mildly spoilery video to Twitter. Hope they don't get in trouble with the higher-ups for that!

Is Bonnie Langford coming back in Episode 2 or was Russell just tipping his hat to "Mind of the Hodiac", which would have been released round about the time he was writing the episode?

Edit: They also have a second post showing of photo of David and Catherine with the message "And that's not the only reunion..."

I'm not up to date with everything happening but is this 60th special just one episode? Feels like a lot more.

Based on a set of spoilers that have turned out to be spot on so far, a three episode mini-series with Tennant and Tate and then the actual 60 Anniversary episode with Ncuti.

So what do we reckon, Christmas for part one, then Good Friday and Easter Sunday for parts two and three, Multi-Doctor shebang for the anniversary proper where they help post-regeneration fifteenth Doctor remember Who he is?

If you’re referring to the Reddit spoilers, they don’t say anything either way about an actual 60th special with Gatwa, just that the overall 60th plans include the three Tennant/Tate episodes. Or was there a separate leak?

Along with all of this excitement, I really hope Peter Davison and company produce a sequel to The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, preferably with more Paul McGann.

One of the ‘likely to be bollocks’ rumours was Sylv had been in to a small recording studio at Bad Wolf, and we know the past Doctors will likely turn up in some small manner (it’s an anniversary, they’ve always turned out for everything since forever, bar one incident involving a waxwork and a stand-in) I am hoping for something more… deep, than the Five-ish Doctors.

1920's clothes and the Doctor and Donna do leave for another time period
