Spoilers Two big characters return for anniversary.

Those glasses look like a nod to "Good Omens"

Crazy how well he looks for the part after all these years. IMO, looks better than he did in Day of the Doctor.

At least, from what we can tell from set pics.

In DOTD he looked really pale and his hair had lost it's height

Are we sure these photos just aren't after a football match ;)

Are these glasses sonic?

Breaking: Tennant is actually playing Crowley!

Edit: Damn next page. Samurai beat me to it!

I was wondering if this was a different episode from the one they had been shooting but Catherine and Cribbins are in the same outfits. It's gonna be a packed episode!

Neal Patrick Harris has something of a "Cabaret" Joel Grey thing going on there with the makeup.

That's the reference I was trying to remember!

If the Toymaker doesn't use his powers to make the Doctor and Donna sing as well it'll be very disappointing. I saw David and Catherine in the musical version of "Much Ado About Nothing" years ago, so I know they've got the chops for it.

Wouldn't it fun as heck if the BBC just commisioned an animation of The Celestial Toymaker, to commemorate the lost serial and cash in on the imminent special featuring him with Tennant's Retro 10?

That’s Neil Patrick Harris. It would appear he has a couple radically different costumes for different scenes.
Never heard of him, but it see he is a American actor so that might explain it, is he big here on UK terrestrial tv, i only use streaming services these days so i have no idea what's hip on tv today.

He was in Dougie Howser MD years ago but has carved out a niche as a character actor from the likes of Starship Troopers and Netflix’s Lemony Snicket adaptation. He was more recently in RTD’s It’s A Sin.
