Spoilers Two big characters return for anniversary.

That seems unlikely to me. I've heard from a couple of sources that Capaldi really could not stand Pearl Mackie. On the other hand, he really enjoyed working with Matt Lucas.

Damn, I hadn't heard about that. A shame because I adored Bill.
Adored her, and them together, great team. Surprised that's not as well known, though you'd definitely never the end of it with the "Pearl Mackie forced Capaldi off the show" like.

^ Well it is just rumour. An admittedly quick search hasn't brought up anything of note online. I recall hearing something at the time the show was airing I think but who knows where that came from or whether there's any truth to it. Usually these co-star feuds are quite well known?

Big Finish did this with the War Master and the 8th Doctor but that box seat was recorded a couple of years ago

It's also in the book Twelve Angels Weeping (albeit with new companions, not established ones), but the incarnations of both there are left ambiguous.

I can't name the source from whom I first heard about the Capaldi/Mackie friction, but it's someone I know and someone I believe would be credible on the matter for reasons I can't go into. I know that's not helpful, I can't say that what I was told was true, but I personally believe it.

Maybe Capaldi is too much of a pro to shout this from the rooftops?

I have actually met Mackie and she seemed lovely but obviously it was just a few minutes interaction.

What does surprise me is that she hasn't set the world on fire career wise since Who, I had thought that would give her career a boost but it doesn't seem to have. Whether that's in any way connected, who knows? Maybe she just need a better agent!

I recall Mackie being very complimentary about PC in interviews, saying what a great actor he was and what she learned from watching him, so it’s sad if the respect isn’t reciprocated (personally, anyway). But I suppose people don’t have to like each other to work well together.

I'm not a fan either, but a fan mentioned his trousers and coat are more similar to Dhawan's Master clothing than Whittaker's, and that spawned the rumoring...

Yeah. It worried me for a whole minute, till I remembered Dawans outfit is purple and has more in common with Matt smith than this.

Maybe the Dawan Master was the Doctor all along, and the Jodie Doctor was really post Missy, following shenanigans. (I am absolutely not serious. Though some shit would make much more sense that way.)

New sonic?

This is what went down at the Night Shoot:

The Doctor bumps into a woman carrying a tower of boxes that covers her face, he helps her with them by removing a few of them, as he removes them it's revealed to be Donna.
The Doctor puts the boxes back in the tower and tries to walk away, something that I can't hear in the footage makes him turn back around

Donna shouts for Rose which confuses The Doctor and then Donna's daughter Rose runs up to them.

The Doctor shakes hands with Rose as Donna sorts out the boxes in the background.
The on set stage direction suggests a spaceship then flies overhead and crashes nearby which Donna doesn't see, presumably to keep up the joke that Donna keeps missing these things.
The Doctor scans the ship with the new sonic.

Shaun Temple, Donna's husband, arrives in a Taxi, calls for Rose but The Doctor runs to the taxi and uses it for himself. He says allon-y as he gets inside.

Tennant is using his regular 10th Doctor accent.

Brace yourselves again today. Filming is set to start again.

Supposedly doing some shooting at Wembley Stadium tomorrow before heading back to Cardiff. Even if true no one's going to see it, unless they fly a drone overhead.

Fans- Prepare the drone!

Filming is back to Cardiff on Friday. Also, another busy day this evening in Cardiff, with a shooting shift going from 6 PM to 6 AM

I’ve heard the master thing before, and I always think it is a bad idea. It seems cool or amusing *on paper* but really what you end up with is a situation where there’s a kind of taint on the character of the doctor by proxy.
I also think it plays on people's expectations in a bad way. Many people really want to see 10 again. To have it be the Master instead would be a real let down.

I really hope he isn't the Master. I think it likely is what it appears to be, the Doctor regenerating into a familiar face. I think as a one off, and so long as the Doctor isn't the Doctor for the next three years it's an interesting thing to do. Have to say though there would be more interesting actors to use in terms of a then/now Doctor. Imagine if it was Peter Davison for example (not that Tennant isn't an interesting actor but he doesn't look that different to how he did.)
That's a great point. It's an opportunity to bring back a past Doctor with a built in reason for why they look older. Of course, RTD want's the most PR bang for his buck, which limits the choices. And he seems more interested (understandably) in building a younger audience than us older ones who'd love to see Davison back!

While regenerating into a familiar face is interesting, I'd rather have a proper multi-Doctor story. After all, we've got plenty of Tennant stories. We can pop those in the player/stream whenever we want.

However, we don't have many multi-Doctor stories. The interactions between the regenerations is something unique to multi-Doctor stories and doesn't happen that often.

I've met her as well and she seemed extremely friendly with the fans. Not arrogant at all. Yeah, short interaction. But she was at least making an effort to be really nice (and it came across as utterly genuine). She even remembered me when we bumped into each other randomly later on.

Both my friend and I were a bit smitten with her too. She seems even more attractive in person than on the show! (And we wondered how that was possible given all the makeup, lighting, etc. benefits of filming vs. real life.) She had like a 200 watt smile!

The return no one saw coming...

Moisturise me!!

(Or it could just be the screen they're using to block people's view but what are the odds of that.)
