Tweaking Star Trek History

Not made "Spock's Brain" or "Turnabout Intruder"

I just watched Turnabout, and I love the scene of Scotty and McCoy talking in the corridor.

I like both episodes. Especially love in "Turnabout Intruder", when Lester in Kirk's body is hanging on Doctor Coleman, trying to get him to murder Kirk in Lester's body. Great stuff.
Yeah, Shatner's really using seduction moves on him. It's one of the "feminine traits" he uses that is often missed over the more obvious stuff like hair primping and doing his nails. He moves differently too, which is why "Kirk" seems so odd.

I wish I could like them more but "Turnabout" would get my lowest rating. "Spock's Brain", I could at least laugh at.

MIGHT have been cool or even cheesier than the 60s go-go boots.

Nothing wrong with 60s go-go boots as long as we have sexy mature ladies wearing them!;)

It's funny. I hadn't had much exposure to the original Battlestar Galactica since its original run. Only seeing bits and pieces here and there over the intervening thirty years. I always heard how cheesy and "'70's" the show was. Now I'm watching the complete series again and finding it to be a fairly solid sci-fi series and much more creative than the Ron Moore version.

I'm rewatching the original Battlestar Galactica and am finding it much more interesting and fun than the Ron Moore existential circlejerk.

I like you, Bill! You talk sense!
The original Cylons for me are far superior to the six or seven lookalike jokers and CGI cartoon spaceships!

I agree about the original Cylons - really cool, especially for the time and the mechanical voice was genius.

I wouldn't really change TOS history, apart from Gene Coon sticking around for season 3 and making Bob Justman an official producer as he deserved.

With all this history What Ifs in this thread, I can't help thinking What If George Lucas had never released Star Wars at all, or had released his original, atrocious cut before his wife Marcia did her magic...and flopped!!

Star Trek in all its post 1978 versions might never have happened...
