Kirk: I'm impressed, this is a lot of work for a short voyage.

CHEKOV: We are in an enemy wessle, sir. I do not wish to be shot down on the date of our own funeral.

 

[Leandar]

Good thinking. Engine room. Report, Mr. Scott.

 

[LeadHead]

Scotty: We're ready Sir. I've converted the Dilithium Sequencer into something a little less primitive and Admiral, I have replaced the Klingon Food Packs. They were giving me a sour stomach.

 

[CoveTom]

KIRK: Oh, is that what it was? Prepare for departure! Everybody not going to Earth had better get off. Saavik... this is goodbye.

 

[LeadHead]

Saavik: Yes Admiral.

 

[CoveTom]

Is there something else before Saavik continues?

SAAVIK: Sir, I have not had the opportunity to tell you about your son. David died most bravely. He saved Spock. He saved us all. I thought you should know.

^ Nope. She just continues with the dialogue she delivers to Spock.

Spock: Live long and prosper Lieutenant. (To Kirk) Permission to come aboard.

^^ Thanks! I think it's supposed to be "Permission to come aboard, Admiral" because it leads into...

KIRK: Jim. Spock, Jim. Don't you remember?

 

[Leandar]

Spock: It would not be proper to refer to you as "Jim" while you are in command, Admiral. Also, I must apologize for my attire, I seem to have... misplaced my uniform.

 

[CoveTom]

KIRK: Station.

 

[ClayinCA]

Actually, Kirk says, "Permission granted," to which Spock replies, "Thank you, Admiral," and then Kirk says, "Jim. Spock, Jim. Don't you remember?"

 

[Leandar]

McCoy: Are you sure this is such a bright idea?

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: What do you mean?

 

[Leandar]

McCoy: I mean him. Back at his post like nothing happened. I don't know if you got the whole picture or not, but he's not exactly working on all thrusters!

 

[Brian]

KIRK: It'll come back to him.

 

[LeadHead]

McCoy: Are you sure? (Kirk sits down) That's what I thought.

 

[Brian]

KIRK: Mr. Sulu... take us home.
