Kirk: I'm here Scotty! I'm here! You're gonna be alright!

 

[Leandar]

Actually, we missed a few:

Scotty: You got it?

Gillian: Yeah.

Kirk: Scotty? Scotty!

Now...

SCOTTY: Admiral! Help!

Kirk: I'm here, Scotty! I'm here! You're gonna be alright!

 

[DeVario]

GILLIAN: The whales are trapped! They'll drown!

 

[LeadHead]

Scotty: There's no power to the bay door!

 

[CoveTom]

KIRK: Explosive override?

 

[Leandar]

Scotty: It's underwater, there's no way to reach it.

 

[Jeyl]

Kirk: You go on ahead and close the hatch.

 

[Leandar]

Scotty: Admiral, you'll be trapped!

 

[CoveTom]

KIRK: Go on!

 

[LeadHead]

(Kirk swims to override)
(Door open)
(Kirk reaches the crew and gasps for air)

Uhura: Do you see them?

 

[Jeyl]

Gillian: (points) Oh!

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: There! Why don't they answer? Why don't they sing?

 

[Jeyl]

Whales Contact Probe. Probe goes away. Power restored.
Cartwright: Mr. President, we have power!

 

[LeadHead]

(Everyone happy in Starfleet control)
(Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, Chekov and Gillian go for a swim)

Federation President: Bring in the accused. (Crew enters, Spock joins them) Captain Spock, you do not stand accused.

 

[Iamnotspock]

Spock: "Mr. President, I stand with my shipmates"

 

[Jeyl]

Mr. President: As you wish. The charges and specifications are conspiracy, assault on Federation officers, theft of Federation property, namely the Starship Enterprise, sabotage of the USS Excelsior, willful destruction of Federation property, specifically the aforementioned USS Enterprise, and finally, disobeying direct orders of the Starfleet commander. Admiral Kirk, how do you plead?

 

[Brian]

KIRK: On behalf of all of us, Mr. President, I am authorized to plead guilty.

 

[Jeyl]

Mr. President: So entered. Because of certain mitigating curcumstances, all charges but one are summarily dismissed. (Crowd is excited) The remaining charge, disobeying orders of a superior officer, is directed solely at Admiral Kirk. I'm sure the admiral will recognize the necessity of keeping discipline in any chain of command.

KIRK: I do, sir.
