Well, let's hope this one hasn't been used lately.

In honor of Captain America: The Winter Soldier bein' awesome, this week's contest will be about sequels.

So, let's see "Part Two" of some of the great comedies, dramas, mysteries & action movies. No scifi/fantasy, though, just in case I win over in that forum, I can keep this idea goin' without crossover.

All entries have to conform to board rules - up to 150x150 and 140KB if animated.

Entries should be posted from now 'til Friday-ish mornin' so the poll can go up this weekend.

Good luck!

Instead of making another avatar for it, resubmitting my Iron Man 2 av.

Wait a minute... non-genre movies have sequels now? (Just kidding... but it was actually surprisingly difficult for me to think of one that wasn't SF&F....)

^ Sorry!! Yours is way better though. I can withdraw mine if you want. (I have a backup in mind.) Let me know.

I posted Iron Man 2 in regards to your Captain America: The Winter Soldier reference and I could do another but Techno-thriller's don't count? I would put Iron Man 1 and 2 in the same category and I wouldn't call a movie like The Hunt for Red October a Sci-fi.

Changing my entry:

(Hopefully the still is indeed from the correct movie... I've never actually seen it... :alienblush:)

^^ I think so ... I was actually going to go with that one myself, before I was struck with a moment of sentimentality. In any case, it's got my vote! :techman:

I don't think of The Hunt for Red October as a scifi movie, either.

But a movie about a guy flyin' 'round in a metal suit and destroyin' remote-controlled robots while he runs off a battery in his chest would be scifi.

D'oh! Sorry, Aragorn. It appears I'm messing everybody up tonight. :) I don't have another backup in mind at this point, but if you would like me to withdraw mine, let me know.
