This contest will be about live action adaptations of a visual media. SciFi & fantasy are okay.
Animated cartoons, cartoons based on toys, comic books, comic strips, games, video games. I'm going to disallow books and novels.
I will allow the live action movies/TV shows can have CG characters, not looking like hand drawn, as long as there's at least one live person in there. It can be based after the cartoon, a direct adaptation, a sequeal, or prequel.
For example, Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings will not be allowed, even Ralph Bakshi's animated version was made earlier, because Jackson's trilogy is based on the books and not the cartoon. Disney's live action Cinderella is okay because it is partially based after their earlier animated movie.
