TV GUIDE listing

I remember the good old days, TV GUIDE was the only way you could get news on any given show. But what always fun to read were the write-ups for the episodes of TV that were on that week..

HAWAII FIVE:0--Starring Jack Lord (they always listed the star first) McGarret finds a lost love is the key to a mystery. (the synopsis could only be ten words long in those days. I know, because one of my cousins wrote copy for TV GUIDE. (13 words if you include the "Starring Jack Lord" and the ten word synopsis.)

Try writing a synopsis for any given STAR TREK episode, or the various TREK series. Rememebr, you must do so with 10 words synopsis and "starring FIRST LASTNAME...with out giving to much of the plot away, but wanting to get someone to watch...

Time's Arrow; Part One Data loses his head. Whoopi Goldberg makes a special cameo.

I remember one of Jay Leno's headline things or something where they showed something like this from a TV Guide:
"Spock goes into a mating frenzy and almost kills Captain Kirk."
:guffaw:

"A Taste of Armageddon" Starring William Shatner. Kirk must prevent a war between two planets.

"Day of the Dove" Starring Michael Ansara. An alien that feeds on violence pits Kirk against Klingons.

"The Tholian Web." Starring Leonard Nimoy. Spock assumes command when Kirk is lost in another universe.

"The Enterprise Incident." Starring William Shatner. Kirk orders the Enterprise into Romulan space.
