It's a pretty powerful clip. It actually has the potential to be the opening scene of most voyager episodes by adding the audio clip of the captains log with that video clip.

Awesome! The interior sets still look good today. A remaster of the VFX shots like this and you could hardly tell it was made in the late 90s early 2000s. Except for a few of Janeway's hairstyles maybe.

I had this same thought recently. I just finished a rewatch of the whole series a couple of weeks ago and the special effects have aged very well. Obviously not as good as something done more recently but for something made in the 90s it still looks pretty darn good

Voyager's a beautiful ship too.

Saw 'Message In The Bottle' last night and the Prometheus was pretty cool too. That whole disengaging into three parts scene..
