Trying to find a movie...

:D So, just ordered it. Found an australian side that looks trustworthy. With the paying I asked a friend...use his credit card now and give him the money on the hand. Very nice!
This side said for regions: 1,2,3,4,5,6 and PAL format...so I hope this is true and one can indeed watch it with a region 2 player. Well I will see when it arrives.

You are right! It just arrived today and works fine on the computer..haven´t tried it out on the DVD player! :)
Though the movie itself does indeed have lots and lots of plot holes and it arrived just at the moment, that I decidet to finally do someting for the thesis again, after not really doing much for a few days, because of being stuck at a part. Now I feel a bit guilty for watching it first and not working on the thesis and trying to get myself unstuck. Why is it always so easy to find 1000 excuses to put the unpleasent things off?

Now I am trying to find something else in the big wide web...with no success.
Does someone know how to find it? It aired on a past british TV channel called ATV in 1980. The further adventures of OLiver Twist.

I can only find the beginning and thats it. The series consists of 13 episodes, each one 30 minutes runtime and while it says here it falls under the genre Drama, I guess it could be also found under Adventure or Children.
Found a few pages where it says I could download it, but the pages seem untrusworthy and expensive...found one page where it said its for free, but when trying to download it my computer wisly stopped and gave me a virus warning. And by the way, what means Torrent download?
And it never seemed to be released on DVD either... it does exists as a book though.
And while speaking of DVD I also am looking for a BBC Twist version from 1985 (I think). That ones also on You Tube, but its so hard to understand, because the characters speak with a very strong cockney accent and crime slang as used in the original book, I was hoping to find this version with English subtitles.

Anyone here ever stumbled over these things?
