True Blood

just finished season 1.

I already had the killer spoiled for me but anyway...I was surprised, would have never guessed it was him. I felt bad for the red haired gal(whats her name?)

:bolian:Sam came to Sookie's rescue(though next time Sam, maybe try something bigger like a grizzly bear?)he must get the sniffles a lot too.

Bill fried himself to try to save Sookie. :(

please dont tell me that Jessica chick is going to hang around Bill now. :shifty:

OK, not reading posts to avoid spoilers...

I've only just started watching the show - Season 1 has only just started on terrestrial TV here in the UK (it may have already been on satellite TV - not sure, really) and today was the first time I watched it. I think it was episode four. And I have to say that I quite like it. I'll certainly keep watching.

He explained he has to have an animal to imprint on...basically a model to emulate. Hence, turning into a tiger or even a grizzlly bear was beyond his means at that moment. Not sure whether that's a psychological limitation on his part or a shifter rule.

Pssst....nobody tell her. :shifty:

If it helps, her character improves drastically in season two. I didn't like her at all during the first season, but she quickly became one of my favorites this time around. The scene when she arrives in Dallas the first time is absolutely golden.

^I felt bad for her until she started all "woohoo!!! Im a vampire! I'M HUNGREH!" :vulcan:

Ya I remember that...If I were him I would have visited a zoo and gone on an imprinting spree by now(unless he has to touch the animal, then that kinda sucks.) I wonder how he got involved with Ensign Ro(& yeah I know what she is, but Im still curious.)

Any word on when season 2 comes out on dvd?

It's more than that. He can only shift into the last animal he imprinted. It seems to be a weakness possessed solely by him right now, too.

Unless someone wants to explain how Daphne was able to turn into a razorback pig after being a doe all that time. Since, you know, there weren't any other razorback pigs pretty much anywhere except for her. :D

Agreed. When season one ended, I found her character to be irritating and I was ready to dish out the hate. Then, quite early in season two, she became a much better, more interesting character. I really quite enjoyed her arc in season two.
