I remember this after Tron Legacy came out. It gave us fans hope for a 3rd movie. We got one but maybe not exactly what we wanted. We'll see. This was an official production, just for the record. Not a fan film.
I believe it's the classic erotic writer Anaïs Nin. “How wrong is it for a program to expect the user to build the world it wants, rather than to create it itself?”I'm not familiar with this NIN chap but he must be a big deal for them to advertise it.

No because Evan Peters is playing Julian Dellinger, so presumably he's also Ed Sr.'s child. If the movie really does completely dump all the plot points from Legacy, then maybe we'll at least get a comic or novel or something that brings them Ares into line with it. I didn't realize until I was looking at the movie's Wikipedia page and saw that Gillian Anderson's character is Elizabeth Dillinger, so I'm she must be Ed Sr.'s daughter, which them begs the question of whether or not she'll be treated as an only child.
I mean, jumping in on the third film seems strange any way.I have never seen Tron or Tron Legacy and this trailer does absolutely nothing to make me want to go see the movie. This might be a total flop.

You mean Tron: Uprising. And I agree. I loved the story and how well Tron was utilized in the story. I'm still bitter about Disney's treatment of the series (constant rescheduling, resulting in terrible ratings, and then ultimately canceling the series due to poor ratings).I absolutely loved Tron: Legacy. The animation was somewhat choppy and primitive, but the story rocked.
