Welcome, vulcangrrl.
pookha, thanks for the caps.
Trip: Hey T'Pol, I hear the Cap'n picked us two to check out that strange forest on the planet's surface....Soon as breakfast is over, I'll be rarin' to go!
T'Pol: Interesting. There are more than ten variations of this specific plant in the area.
Trip: T'Pol, I don't feel so good. Must've been something I ate this morning.
T'Pol: (continuing with her work) Correction, I have identified twelve distinct varieties of this plant.
Trip: Uh, T'Pol, I'm not kidding....
T'Pol: (sigh) Commander, your 'stomach ache' ruse will not work this time. Dr. Phlox has informed me that mouth-to-mouth resuscitation is not the required treatment for indigestion....(loud sound of something hitting the floor)....Commander?
T'Pol, does seem to be listening at certain points and there are a few times when it seems she may even be aware of what Trip is hinting at. In the period following "Daedalus" (and before Trip went to Columbia), it really seemed that T'Pol was trying to focus on the Kir'Shara and keep things mainly on a professional level with Trip so, I thought that may've factored into the way she answered the question. And like you mentioned, maybe there was a bit of fear as well...I thought that perhaps she also might fear that if she answered in a different way, it would shift their relationship back to a more personal and intimate level, which would've possibly distracted from her need to explore 'what it means to be Vulcan.'
Anyway, at this point, their normal (and more comfortable) banter and teasing seemed to be missing, and I don't think it really came back until the end of "Bound," speaking of which, I still have some caps to post from that one...hopefully, soon.

Nice caps tothebridge, thanks. But she does seem to be listening at one point. Maybe she was afraid to say anything, Trip had made the Romeo and Juliet comment, and I think she thought it was definitely all over, IMO.
