"Trials and Tribble-ations" Line-by-Line

McCoy enters Bridge

McCoy: Did you want to see me Jim?

Kirk holds up Tribbles

well, don't look at me. It's the Tribbles who are breeding.

McCoy: Well, the nearest thing I can figure out is that they're born pregnant, which seems to be quite a time saver.

Jadzia: Leonard McCoy. I met him when he was a student at Old Miss.
Sisko: Who met him? Curzon?
Jadzia: No, my host at the time was Emony. She was on earth judging a gymnastics competition. I had a feeling he'd become a doctor...
*Sisko looks at her curiously*
Jadiza: He had the hands of a surgeon.

(Blows Whistle) Too many lines. 15 yard penalty. Throw tomatoes at user!

Sisko: I've scanned every deck, the bomb's not aboard the ship.

:alienblush: Sorry, once again I couldn't wait and I just HAD to be the person to do that "surgeon" line so I could show off one of my kickass custom avatars. Carry on, lieutenant.

That's the point. The line-by-line threads aren't about "getting the good lines", they're about how fast we can get to the end of the episode one line at a time. If you want a specific line that's coming up, stay logged in and keep hitting "Refresh".

Moving on...

(Slow push in to a tribble sitting on a mound of grain.

Dun dun duh.....!

Odo, O'Brien and Bashir are scanning tribbles and tossing them every which way. Bartender in the background in a pile of tribbles looking like his goldfish just died.

communicator beeps...

Odo: Odo here.

ODO: It's not a question of manpower, it's a question of multiplication. The tribbles are breeding so fast we can't keep up with them.

DAX: Benjamin, maybe we could narrow things down a little. Presumably, Darvin put the bomb somewhere he knows Kirk is going to be in the next half hour. So if we stick close to Kirk...

(Enterprise rec room)

(Kirk has received a tribble sandwich and tribble in a cup from the food processor.)

KIRK: This is my chicken sandwich and coffee. I want these things off the ship. I don't care if it takes every last man we've got, I want them off the ship.
