Trek's most explored character...

We've had several TREK series now, TOS-TNG-DS9-VOY-ENT, and several movies...in your opinion which character has been the most fleshed out character in Star Trek's prolific life span?

NOT INCLUDING BOOKS..ONLY CANON MATERIAL FROM MOVIES-TV SHOWS

Surely Worf has had the most development, we know all about his childhood and seen all his major relationships and life struggles.

I think I agree...Picard's stargazer stuff is explored to some degree. But just going by the material aired on TV/Movies,and the fact that Sisko is 'dead' (for now), we know about his begining, his middle life, and his death.

Yes, Kirk in some degree fits that bill. But we really don't know much about Kirk's past. We know some, but not as much as Sisko's, IMO.

Spock

Chuckling :rommie:

This is the character I thought of first; there was quite a lot of interest in Spock in TOS, and two movies were basically made off him. Three if you count Sybok & Co., which I tend to forget. There's also a carryover into TNG.

I would say Nog....considering he wasn't a main character but his arc from when we first meet him to the last episode and everything in between is just stellar writing More so than most main characters.

Another vote for Spock. And if you did include books he'd be the winner hands down.

In my opinion, Julian Bashir was the closest to a 3-dimensional human-like character that we have seen in Star Trek. You literally could develop him whichever way you wanted to without the writers being tied down by the fact that he is a doctor and solely interested in medicine.

tennis
klingon food

Jack Pack

The Alamo
James Bond holodeck fantasy

Garak
O'Brien
...just to name a few

Ensign Redshirt... hands down... we know every planet he died on, and that's a lot of planets! :rommie:

I'll vote for Spock. He's certainly the best developed original character and he's certainly up there for any series.

I'd say Seven of Nine. Voyager pretty much became Star Trek: Seven of Nine starting during Season 4.

I'll vote Warf for the reasons stated in the second post, plus you also catch a glimpse of him late in life as his power in the Empire begins to fade.

Either Sisko or Worf.

Sisko, because of all the conflicts he goes through.

Worf, because we know SO much about his family (foster and real), his sense of culture and life, and the rest.

Yes..i see it this way too...Sisko's life was, well, epic...Picard's was too, but Sisko eclipsed him IMO..

It seems like almost all of us are on the same page with this. I went immediately: Sisko, Spock, Worf. And I said it in that exact order. Cool!:techman:
