Trekmovie's starship round-up [SPOILERS]

If you check this out quickly you can get a smuggled look at the "time core" from Spock's ship before the studio presumably swoops in and has them taken down:

So I take it the ship is bigger on the inside? ;)

Yeah, they're going to do a spin-off with Nimoy careening around history in his one-man time ship - although he'll be inviting companions along quite often.

Finally! A way to get Shatner into the movie! Spock - Last (Almost) of the Time Lords.

I'm sure it will be handled well in the movie, but the idea of Spock flying around in a one-man time ship sounds pretty ridiculous.

Why? Spock's travelled through time on multiple occasions, and we've seen more than one time-ship operated by a single person on the show. Or do you just hate time travel stories in general? :)

Another Spock sighting!!

And, it could be worse. He could be travelling through time thanks to Q.

I wonder if Nimoy's one-man ship is called the Vincent.

This is a shot from the set of Spock's ship.... instead of a transporter it has one of these installed:

Um, spoiler warning.

So the Romulans come from the 24th century and chase Spock through time or something? I hope this is well done.

So...does this mean Vic Fontaine will be in the movie???

But T'Pol said in Enterprise that the Vulcun Science Counsel determined that time travel was impossible. :vulcan:

:cough: at least that's what they believed in the 22nd Century, there was ample evidence supplied very likely by The Enterprise 1701 herself that they were... umm in error. :cough:

Something we the audience always knew.

I meant exactly what I said. The idea of Spock flying around in a one-man time ship sounds pretty ridiculous.

I have no problem with time-travel stories, if they are done well. (TM)

I agree that it sounds ridiculous. I'm hoping when we see it presented in the context of the storyline it won't seem as silly. After all, we don't know the circumstances by which Spock came in possession to it, and exactly how it will be used.

I'm glad to see that they haven't built just one Starfleet bridge set and then redressed it several times to serve as the bridge of every starship in the movie.

Did anyone notice the tidbit about George Kirk being XO of the USS Kelvin?

I wonder if the writer are "chaneling" the books where George Kirk was XO of the Enterprise under April, only changing the location?

I have a feeling that George and the Kelvin won't go back safely home....
