I once traveled to my first interstate Star Trek convention and, for fun, wore my new ST II Starfleet uniform on the plane. (ST II had just opened.)

As the plane was preparing for take-off, the theme music from "Battlestar Galactica" was playing. Bizarre enough! After we were in the air, the co-pilot got onto the speakers and said, "Welcome aboard our Ansett flight to Brisbane under the command of Captain Pike."

My sons name in Miles.. After Mr Miles O'Brian of course.
His middle name is Felix of course after Felix Leiter from James Bond.
At the time we didn't think of it.. but he's our little "MF".

We did give real thought to the name Cartagia for our daughter.. But went with Chloe.
