I have them all, but strangely enough, the only one I have twice on DVD is Nemesis, since I bought the bare bones version, then months later picked up the two disk set.
It wasn't even my favorite film by a long shot.

All of them, though STV is there for completeness. I tried showing it to the family but only made it 20 min in...they hated it.

My top 3:

1. ST09
2. STII
3. STIV

I did something for the first time...watched ST09 AFTER an older ST series film, it just amazes me how REAL and solid all the FX look and how dynamic it is. Honestly think the sequel will do $500 million...the nearly 9 million discs sold so far convinces me of this.

I have them all on DVD!

Please note, that I'm still kid and all, so basically my dad, a Trek fan too, is the one who has spent his money on them...:)

I have III-X. I just borrow my parent's copies of I, II, and XI when I want to watch them.

^^ I like your sig. :techman:

Which is in no way an indictment of the film itself, which I feel has enjoyable elements (which is why I own it on Blu-Ray). Just reflects how impossible it is to discuss its flaws with its fans.

To be fair, its pretty much impossible to discuss any movie/TV series/book/pizza place's flaws with said entity's fans.

On DVD, I own ST:TMP thru TUC, and ST (2009).

I have all of them in the 2-disc dvd sets, except for FC and INS. I have NEM because I found it at a going out of business sale for $4...

OT question: I've been waiting to get the blurays because I hear they were being reworked. Should I wait? I will likely get the TOS films first.

I went ahead and took the plunge on The Original Motion Picture Collection (Blu-ray) and don't regret it one bit. The video and sound are solid A's and massive improvements over The Special Collectors Editions of the TOS films.

But I'm a chump and will probably buy the Blu-Ray updates if they come out. :guffaw:

All of them... I-X in the directors editions box set ($55 on Ferrengi-bay many years ago now) and XI received as an Xmas present last year. I do have a duplicate TWOK (Xmas present from a sibling, who wasn't smart enough to know I'd already have them all to date back then! *grin?*). Although, I've yet to open XI.

I've got the two-disc DVD editions of all 11 movies. I'm not usually a completist (I only have all 7 seasons of DS9 and TAS otherwise), but this is a fairly limited collection and easy and cheap to keep complete.

Although my least favorite movie is NEM, I actually have the single disc version of that as well as the two disc. I used to take my Mom to the ST movies with me, as there were no other Trek fans in my household, but as she got older, the movie screen bothered her and she was unable to go and see NEM with me. So, I bought the single disc as soon as it came out so she could watch it. Later, I got the two disc version cheap.

I had TMP through INS on pan and scan VHS. Did they ever release NEM on VHS?

I don't have a Blu-Ray player or even an HD TV yet. But, I probably will need to replace a TV and a DVD player soon and, when I do, it will be an HD and a Blu-Ray. I doubt that I will upgrade my ST collection to Blu-Ray, however.

I have all the movies but regret spending money on Nemesis and Insurrection. I didn't see them before I bought them, and I won't make that mistake again.

I have everything from TMP to FC on DVD. Some I have twice; I got the early NTSC versions in the 90's and later got PAL versions, or recently got the remastered versions. Now I am looking for the director's cuts of TWoK and TUC...

ST09 was the best selling ST disc of all time, I''m willing to bet more people own that than the next 5-6 ST movies combined! Its not surprising its running even on a ST board though.:)

I'm curious what that has to do with the thread?

I have all of the, er, "prime universe" movies on DVD, save Star Trek V (which doesn't exsist as far as I know.)

I own Star Trek (2009) on Blu-Ray.

The TNG-Movie DVDs and VI are all their regular releases the other TOS movies are all their two-disc collectors versions.
