I'm sure that when you read the books, you'll be visualising the action anyway in an aspect ratio of you own choice, with a resounding soundtrack. But some Trek Lit moments are more cinematic than most.
Which moments do you believe it was criminal not to have committed to celluloid?
For me it's actually a rather quiet one. In Diane Carey's Final Frontier, there is a scene set just after City On The Edge Of Forever, with Kirk reevaluating his career. He's come home to Iowa, and is sat in his barn with a cup of coffee, looking over his dad's old letters, trying to figure where he went wrong.
McCoy and Spock show up to give him a pep talk, and what follows is one of the best big three moments ever. (IMO need it be said).
Actually I think that Final Frontier should have been the fifth movie, but anyway, that one scene in my mind should have been immortalised in more than just print.
Your go.
