Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

I think I saw Phillip Pine on something over the weekend too - either a Twilight Zone or a Peter Gunn.

The late Skip Homeier as a mob boss in The Streets of San Francisco, "A Good Cop... But," 1977.

So, not a "guest" actor but since this thread has long since gone off the original limited topic I thought I'd share this.

Back in April 2012 when I had lunch with Grace Lee Whitney she talked about about working on Some Like It Hot and being on set with Marilyn Monroe. Well, Grace's role in the film went uncredited, but she's there all right, playing the part of Rosella. You can see her in this scene. She pops out of her bunk at 2:00, then trots right by the camera, exiting at 2:11. She then climbs into the bunk at screen left at 2:23 and is to the left of the frame for a lot of the shots there. In fact, that's her to the far left in the thumbnail for the video, with the beauty mark on her cheek.

TCM showed Some Like It Hot on the big screen a few weeks back. It was fun to see Grace up there!

Forbin and all reading this.

We have Google overlords watching us. No cheesecake type photos. I know they're innocuous and were broadcast on TV (and can be seen on any beach) but Google came down hard on us last time, including bikini and/or lingerie shots and we are NOT going down the road to "Babe of the Week" softcore again, versteh? When I had to spend a whole weekend (along with other mods) deleting pics, honestly, as a woman, I was rather shocked and saddened at what I found - as I said, we had crossed over from innocent fun to softcore. That's what I got for not going in those threads back then.

At any rate, thems that has the gold makes the rules and we must be careful with pictures. We have to be PG or even G in our rating. That's a little tighter than I'd prefer it to be myself myself but it's how it has to be.

Also - when posting, one pic per post, please. Don't overload the system, eh?

Okee doke, will comply, but I'm surprised - like you say, it's pics that were on family TV shows in the 1960s!
I had no idea Google was involved with the board (or was so stodgy!)
No worries, you're the boss. :)

... I had no idea Google was involved with the board ...
It's for the advertising program.

Anyway, in addition to his appearance in an episode of Bonanza, Leonard Nimoy also appeared in the 1995 revival TV movie Bonanza: Under Attack as Frank James, real-life outlaw brother of Jesse James. It was kind of fun, even though none of the original cast of the series appeared.

NBC just had to make an obvious Trek reference in one of the previews for this. :p

A few more from The Streets of San Francisco...

Windom got "special guest star" billing, over Richard Basehart.

Doing scenes with a future governor of California, who would have guessed?

Byron Morrow and Mariette Hartley in The Rockford Files, "Paradise Cove," 1979. They were in one shot together, but a ways apart.
