Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

There are a slew of STAR TREK: TOS actors that appeared in a little known and little seen show that premiered in the same Fall 1966 season on ABC. It was called THE MONROES and the two biggest Trek actors in it are Ron Soble and Liam Sullivan.

The one-season wonder was just recently released on DVD as a Wal-mart exclusive. The prints used are pretty bad and would be for true fans only. But the IMDb list of actors reveals a number of Trek actors, including Jeffrey Hunter.

This was mentioned earlier, but three-shots being somewhat rare I thought I would post Susan Oliver, Vic Perrin and Byron Morrow in The Twilight Zone, "People Are Alike All Over," 1960. Paul Comi was also in it.

^I had to check if that's the one with Mariette Hartley as the mom, but it's the other one.

Another episode of The Lieutenant - "Operation: Actress", with Leslie Parrish as a Hollywood actress who gets into trouble (and yes, Roddenberry gets her into a bikini - ROWR), and as her father, our favorite Amusement Planet Keeper, Oliver McGowan...

Caught the tale end of a Rosemary's Baby/The Exorsist movie rip off called The Devil Within Her starring Joan Collins as the mother of a newborn baby possessed by a homicidal drawf. Co-starring Donald Pleasence.

TCM just showed Michael Forest as Atlas on 12/1. Made in 1961; could this be why he was considered for another mythical figure in Who Mourns for Adonais?

I suppose the baby was the possessed one, but Joan Collins possessed by a homicidal dwarf, what a bravura performance, whatever that means, we could have had from Joan C..

Also known as I don't want to be born and these days as The Monster in the UK!

Just caught the rather boring JFK assassination conspiracy movie "Executive Action," which featured Paul Carr (with anachronistic 70's hair and sideburns) as the shooter in the Book Depository building. One of the longest 90 minute movies I've yet seen.

Decades is playing an episode of The Lucy Show, "Lucy and John Wayne," that has Morgan Woodward shooting a movie with...well, you can guess.

Mod Squad, season 3. Paul Carr as a dastardly sky diver!

Colorful!

Also interesting to include him in a group the cops refer to as "these klids" when he was 36 at the time!

Oh, and, he actually survived the episode, but Pete had to punch him unconscious.
