That looks a lot like his role as "The Thief from Outer Space" on Lost in Space, in which his henchman was Ted Cassidy (Ruk in WALGMO).

And I notice on imdb that Sid Haig was a lawgiver in "Return of the Archons."

Just found out that John Hoyt (Dr. Boyce) has an acting credit on Flesh Gordon (1974), and Bjo Trimble (yes, that Bjo Trimble) has a credit as a makeup artist on the same film.

Here's one.. Michael Ansara in the "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" movie, and later as a completely different character in an episode of the TV series, but both with Hispanic names.

Yikes! Looks like shooting ten or fifteen takes of that would send one to the eye doctor! :D

It seems that Roddenberry offered the role of Dr. Boyce to Malachai Throne.

70 pages in, so i'm not sure if anyone mentioned "The Encroachment," a 2/21/66 episode of Dr. Kildare, with Shatner & two then-future ST guest stars (Diana Muldaur & Bruce Hyde), but not necessarily surprising--

It's surprising it was in color.

I had to wait for the credits to even notice, but that young lanky Texan with the thick cowboy accent in the Steve Canyon pilot episode (Sept 1958) is Morgan Woodward!

Morgan Woodward had a recurring role on Dallas in the '70s as Jock Ewing's friend Punk.

And I just saw Angelique Pettyjohn in a bit part as a model in the same Batman episode where Roger C. Carmel plays the villain.

I think I remember this guy from a couple of episodes, but as soon as I laid eyes on him, my eyeballs roasted and seared into their very sockets:

Billed only as "Angelique," Miss Pettyjohn guested on a 2nd season episode of Get Smart

Watch where you're flipping that coin, max.

Now about that "first interracial kiss" thing. This episode aired three weeks after "Plato's Stepchildren!" Lord knows what date it was filmed, before or after PS, but it almost counts as simultaneous in the Grand Scheme of Things. That's Denise Nicholas (remember Room 222?) getting smooched by Natalie Wood's fella.

Based on article previews at Variety, it looks like it was filmed in mid-October 1968 -- a few weeks after "Plato's Stepchildren."

Still -- it's an interesting find, and this kiss doesn't look like it's being forced by telepathic aliens!
