Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Two episodes into the Hawaii Five-0 marathon on Decades TV and there's Michael Ansara (without his toupe) in the first, and Ricardo Montablan and Diana Muldaur in the second.

And this hour...the Shat himself!

ETA: And still showing his chest in 1972.

I'm watching The Brain That Wouldn't Die on Comet TV and I just realized that the evil scientist is being played by Jason Evers, who was in the 3rd season episode Wink Of An Eye.
I can't believe that after seeing both the original and the MST3K version so many times I finally realized who that was.

I just stumbled into the 1959 film "Li'l Abner" which features both Leslie Parrish (who appeared in Who Mourns for Adonais?) and Julie Newmar (who appeared in Friday's Child). I thought some of you might be interested in seeing clips with them, and maybe sharing clips you've run across of other guest actors who appeared in something you found unexpected or unusual.

If you want to see Trek actors purchase the Twilight Zone seasons 1-5. Tons of Trek Actors in the series.

Trek actors and even some of the regulars appear somewhere in virtually every television series of the sixties and seventies! You name it, they've probably been in it!

Lawrence Montaigne, Paul Comi and Bruce Mars in The Time Tunnel's The Massacre! Strangely Montaigne had a shaven chest in this one as he played an Indian brave called Yellow Elk but he wouldn't shave his chest for Gene the following year for Amok Time!!!

I guess that explains why he was the only Vulcan sporting the ubiquitous Star Trek black turtleneck.

One Step Beyond! "Reunion" (1959) - Features Paul Carr (in a car!) as an enthusiastic young Nazi on the eve of WWII.

Pointless trivia: this episode aired 20 years (and 2 months and a couple of weeks) after the events it depicts.

They could have done a 12 O'Clock High / One Step Beyond crossover in which Paul Carr, Paul Carr, and Paul Carr bombed Paul Carr.

Just caught a bit of 1968 Mark Lenard in the Decades Here Come the Brides binge that I have on in the background. ETA: Looks like he was a regular in the series...as were Robert Brown...and David Soul...and Bobby Sherman for what that's worth. And William Schallert is guesting in the one that's on right now.

ETA: Ah, I see that this was already touched upon five years ago....

Anyone refer to "Night of the Lepus" with Dr McCoy saying to someone "You're out of your hoppin' mind?"

No bunny rabbits were harmed in the making of this epic award winner, the hasenpfeffer served at the wrap party was scrumptious!

It's also newly out on Blu-ray this month. In addition to Kelley, it has John Hoyt in it, too -- two doctors for the price of one!

YES!!!
I love these 70s "When animals attack" flicks. Piranha and "Kingdom of the Spiders" rule, but bunnies never hurt, too...

Now if only they'd release the popular 60s TV shows like "I Spy" and "The Beverly Hillbillies", and others, on Blu-Ray...
